Hey, hey there lovelies! This is a beauty
box called a Wantable. You’ve probably all have heard of it. Um, did I say beauty box?
I’m sorry. A fashion subscription box. Sorry, I’m tired. I had a long day at work. So yes,
this is my very first Wantable and I wanted to share with you the contents of it just
to see how it works. Alright, so, I’m just going to so ahead and pop open the box. “Beautiful,
A beautiful new thing.” So I’m just going to set this over here and open it up so lets
go through it. So it gives you all the steps and instructions. Step 1. Try on every item.
[Step] 2. check out at wantable.com. Remember, the more you keep, the more you save.
Step 3. If you plan on returning the items, do so within the next 5 days. Um, place all
unwanted items, with tags attached, within the pre-paid shipping envelope found at the
bottom of the package. Drop of at any post office. Perfect! Alright, “Say hello to your style
edit.” This is what was right on top here. I really hope you guys can still see this.
Um, it says your style editor has handpicked 5 apparel items from unique, specialty, and
premium brands we think you’ll love. So, I have to say it is Fall and I live in the Pacific
North West so I’m a little concerned that this lovely box is so small. I’m thinking
like more sweaters, and knits, um, thicker items hopefully. Um, so we’ll see what’s under
the black paper. So, you have 5 days to try them on. Return anything you don’t want. Styling
fee is nonrefundable but applied to your final purchase. If you keep everything, 30% discount.
Hayyy!! Any questions, they give a phone number. Um, “Style is a way to say who you are without
having to speak.” YSL Thank you Alright, let’s crack this bad boy open. Sorry.
Alright. September Style Edit, hand picked for me!
Each of these items has been handpicked by your Style Editor to perfectly match your
preferences. I did take a long, pretty long survey, um so, let’s see how well they understood
them. Now for the fun part: It’s time to try them on and decide what you HAVE to have.
Make sure to keep the handtags on until you decided what you want to keep. Once you’ve
decided what you want to return, head to wantable.com and complete the self-checkout. Etc etc. So there are five items here, and let us see….
I see a lot of stuff happening in here. So I’m going to try to mix and match them up.
So. I’ll be right back. Okay folks, don’t mind my runny nose. I’ve
haven’t taken my allergy medicine. Okay, anywho, okay I’m back. So this is my first Wantable
so I didn’t know where the stylist’s comments actually lived but I found them inside this
thing. Alright, so my stylist today was Michelle
and she says, “Hey girl!” um, well she didn’t say “Girl”, she said my name, but whatever.
“Hey girl! Thank you for letting us know your preferences. I had so much fun styling for
you today. I was able to put together a great mix of items for you to try. I chose some
great casual/business casual pieces including a really in-trend jacket to help transition
into Fall that you can dress up or down. Hope you love… hope you LOVED your Edit! Happy
shopping! Smiley face” Thank you girl! Alright, so, um, ignore the
pants for the moment because this shirt does’t go with the pants and I don’t what that to
distract from what’s happening… so I’m going to step a little closer. Alright, so this
top is a Kut Kimora Plaid Shirt L. This slouch plaid top pairs great with denim for a chic
Fall look. Um, so I look at like the lovely little picture here and uhh, it looks a little
slouchy on homegirl, it looks a little slouchy. But on me, not so much. So she does not have
this part buttoned, but this might not be safe for TV. Um, I can’t… if I do that I
have to keep my arms just like this. So, I have to put like a cami on underneath it and
that’s the one thing I really don’t want to do. I live in Seattle, which is like the historical
home of Grunge and all that plaid-y stuff, and I still have not been able to find, like,
the plaid shirt for me. This is really, really, really, really close, but it’s also a little
tight around the sleeve area and I think it is because of the cuff… Let me unroll this
really quick while I talk. Okay, that’s a little better. Yeah, it’s, It’s okay, but
it’s just a wee bit too revealing, um, or requires I wear another layer, which is fine
but I really just to be able to just have a plaid that can be my plaid and that be my
plaid, um, without any other prerequisites to wearing it. So, um, this one I’ll think
about. Please let me know your thoughts on this plaid top. So, yep, this is the Kut Kimora
plaid shirt L, as I look at myself in the mirror, I guess it’s not really all that bad,
I just, yeah whatever, yeah, just let me know what you think. Um, so now I’m going to go
to the other stuff that I got in here. Be right back. Okay, I’m back and I’m wearing 3 pieces from
my Wantable box.The first one is the Jack Rai Top in Black. Jack, I don’t know what
this means… I don’t know. Super soft jersey body provides perfect backdrop for a beautiful
lace yoke. This top can be dressed up or down. And I’m also wearing the BB Dakota Brody black,
um, jacket. A draped open “placket” really? A draped open “placket”, idunno, creates an
undone feel and fitted sleeves lend a chic finish. And then BCBGeneration, um how do
you say that? I dunno. um Faux Leather Trim Legging. Pair these panel leggings in with
an oversized knit for a street savvy look. Let’s talk about it! I’m a little hot! Um,
don’t mind me. I’m gonna turn that down a little bit. Uh so, let’s talk about the jacket.
I don’t know if you can tell but I’m a little extra curvy in my upper half so these draped
jackets I feel have to do like a lot more to look as draped as they should. Um, I don’t
know if you can really tell but when I drape it, it just looks like, um, I’m wearing a
bib, kinda. A special bib that protects your sides as well but especially the top, so,
I’m not really feeling this. So if I wear it just like the image of the model has here,
I’ll show it to you guys. Like it’s… can you see it? I hope you can see this. Oh my
goodness, I’m so sorry. Um, so yeah, so if I do it just like this, I think it’s okay.
Is this okay? Uh, it’s okay, it just feels like really exaggerated collar because I don’t
get that extra draping down below because I have something in the way preventing that
full closure. So, I think I kinda like the jacket. Like the inside is like a very, very
nice, smooth texture so it wouldn’t like snag whatever I’m wearing underneath it. But, at
the same time, uh an extra size up would kinda help with the other aspects of the jacket.
So, probable not on the jacket. So I’m gonna go on and take this off while I talk about,
ahhh, these leggings. I don’t have a problem with the leggings. Um, I, I personally am
not a big fan of paneled pants. And by paneled pants, I mean the outside is a nice, like,
leather while the inside is a nice, like, fabric. So, like, leather, fabric, leather,
fabric. Can you see that? Leather, fabric, leather, fabric. Um, I’m not the biggest fan
of it. The are actually like really tight, which I guess is fine too, um, don’t look
at my butt. They’re tight, but they also ride a little too low for me so if I weren’t in
the proper under-carriage, uh, clothing items… SPANX… I would really be uncomfortable,
cuz stuff would pop and it just wouldn’t be all that good… so, okay yeah maybe not to
the leather paneled pants. Yeah, and just the fact that I have to say paneled with it
just makes it even more undesirable. Yeah, sorry. Let’s talk about this top. This top,
this top, this top. It’s really, really smooth. The jersey knit thing they were talking about
is true. It’s nice, like, on the back. Like I think it fits me pretty well. This is definitely
a top that requires a black bra. I had to switch from my cream one. So here we go so
you can see the detailing on the yoke a bit better. Um, and I’ll even turn to the side
so you can that I am going to have a constant epidemic of this curling up because it’s not
going to be able to lay flat. Can somebody please like make a top that has this stuff
laying flat? I’d pay full price for it. Thank you. So yeah, all in all, like, I think this
is a nice top. If I have to get anything, it would be this, so, let’s try on the last
top and I’ll give my final review. Alright lovelies! This is…. sorry, let me stop right
here for a moment. Alright lovelies, this is the last item from my Style Edit. It’s
the Lumiere Long Sleeve Tee With Draped Back. This soft, long sleeve tee features a draped
back. Very descriptive!!! ha ha ha, let’s talk about this, so, when you look at it from
the front, I like it, I like it. The, I’m gonna talk about the fabric really quick,
this is a cotton, I do believe… it’s somebody’s cotton. There has to be… like it’s a blend
of some sort. Where’s the tag at? The tag tells everything. It is, ah, 96% Rayon 4%
Spandex, hand wash, don’t bleach, dry flat. We have a complicated washing instructions.
We have complicated washing instructions. Um no, okay, so yeah, this is… so it’s not
even a cotton at all. It’s a little itchy but in not too bad of a way. I don’t like
itchy fabric, especially on something that is this close to my skin. Um, I like that
the sleeves are a bit longer. This is a very relaxed top, like I could wear this after
a workout or even to work . I could really make this shirt my own. It has a good length
to it. It has a good stretch to it, that 4% Spandex, y’all! Um, it’s actually a little
thin so if you’re seeing the decorations from my bra, excuse me, I’m feeling a wee bit exposed.
Yet another top that requires a prerequisit to wearing. That’s neither here nor there
because, the problem that I have with this top is in the back. It doesn’t seem to be
that bad. It’s actually a little wrinkley. But I don’t know if it’s just my torso or
if it’s just like, my shape on like the X-axis, but um, I don’t think that this is really
flattering. That I just have this mound of fabric that rests on top of where my butt
is and/or should be. It just feels weird. I’m pretty sure it swings when I do that.
Does it? Yeah, it just swings. And it almost feels like I’m a kid and I’m getting ready
to run into the street and my mom just, like, pulled me so hard to keep me from, like, running
into the street that she forever stretched out the top. It’s like, “No! Don’t do it!
Don’t do it!” Yikes! Um ha ha if this were a regular long sleeved top, smooth in the
back, not this draped back thing, especially with a draped back that comes way up here.
I feel really confused. Um but if this was not a draped back top, I would love this.
I would love everthing about it, but I feel like I would have to wear something to cover
this up cus it doesn’t feel… it doesn’t feel right. I can smuggle stuff back here…
can
I just… don’t mind me. I’m just gonna… Yeah! Look at that! There’s room for all of
your extra items. There it is. Look, it’s perfect. It’s like a hood for like your back,
or something. Uhh, okay, whatever. I don’t really think I’m that big a fan of this top.
Um, I got some things to think about. So on the scale of everything in my box, this is
the cheapest with the Jack Rai top being $1 more. The plaid shirt being, what, $28 dollars
more than that. The leggings being $10 dollars and then the… that “placket” (and I’m gonna
call it a “placket” too) that “placket” being, what $17 dollars more than that. So this is,
okay, like the prices are not too bad, they’re a little pricey, um but reasonable for quality
items. Um, I’m still in these pants, um, mostly because I can’t get them off… maybe because
all of my other pants are in the washing machine, but um yeah… I’m just, I just have a lot
of decisions to make. Guys, I’ve me… I need some help here. What should I keep? What should
I definitly get rid of? So yeah let me know in the description below, sorry, in the comments
below, not the description. Yeah, let me know in the comments below what you think I should
keep and what you think I should get rid of, what you think I should request a larger size
of. Um, let me know if you agree with my thoughts from the video. Again it was the, let me just
grab everything and get it within arms reach. We have the Kut Kimora Plaid Shirt in Large.
Um, required a cami underneath, maybe need a larger size. I think I’d like a larger size,
everything else is right about it. Alright, then the Jack Rai top with the lacy yoke.
Requires a black bra, woah! And requires care in trying to untangle it. Yes, there we go.
Requires a black bra. Oh! I didn’t even notice this. Did you guys see this? Like there’s
like this cutout area back here in the back. Oh, okay, I like it a little more. Okay, um
yeah, I didn’t have a problem with it. The jersey is really smooth. It actually kinda
kept me pretty warm. The only problem that I had was that the lacy yokey part that hangs
over the jersey needs to somehow like be tacked of glued or like sewed down because it curls
up on me. Um, this is probably my keeper. The next one is the BB Dakota Brody Blacket
“Placket”… bluh bluh “Placket” in black. Um, Probably need a larger size to make this
work, but I still don’t know if it’ll work for me with that cross over bibby thing that’s
happening. It just doesn’t really work well… umm.. yeah this is probably… I don’t think
I’ll even request a larger size in that one. So the next item was the BCBGeneration Faux
Leather Trim legging. Leather on the outside, fabric on the inside. There’s a song to that,
I think, maybe, I dunno. Um I wish I liked leather pants, I just feel like “the cow”
in leather pants so um yeah, and also, they’re a little long. I don’t know if you can really
see it or not or if I even really want you to see it, but it’s just a wee bit long. I’d
have to wear them with like boots of something. Yeah, decisions, decisions, decisions. And
the last is the Lumiere Long Sleeve Tee With the Draped Back. Long sleeved tee – Loved.
Draped back – not so much. Okay lovelies, leave your comments in the below. Let me know
what other subscription boxes I should subscribe to that you’d love reviewed and if you’d like
